About: GFX Labs isn’t a fund. We don’t hold positions. We are a team of builders who love DeFi. Our participation in governance is rooted in a desire to see DeFi overtake legacy finance. We promise to be active participants. We’ll explain not only when we agree but, most importantly, when we disagree. As first-hand participants in governance, we know how frustrating it is to work on a proposal, receive limited comments, only to have the proposal shot down at launch. Our door will always be open to those who share the passion for DeFi that we have.
Experience: GFX Labs has been participating in DeFi governance since 2020. Over the last four years, GFX has authored or sponsored 10 successful proposals at Uniswap, is a top delegate at Optimism, has actively participated at MakerDAO over the last two years, and more recently, Arbitrum.
Delegate Platform or Philosophy: GFX Labs are pro-token holder rights. We work hard to represent the token holders who have entrusted us with their voting power. Rather than wait for opportunities to present themselves, GFX Labs prides itself on proactively engaging DAO stakeholders. That is reflected in GFX’s strong record for authoring governance proposals.
Conflicts of Interest: GFX Labs activity participates at Uniswap, Optimism, Makerdao, and Arbitrum.
Policy for Handling Conflicts of Interest When They Arise: We will disclose relevant conflicts.
